Mitt Romney’s Debate Jujitsu Knocks Out Newt Gingrich

There are no "knock outs" in JiuJitsu. Either you submit someone (they tap out) or they pass out. It is possible to break an arm, ankle, or make your opponent pass out from squeezing the carotid artery in moves such as a Rear Naked Choke or a Triangle.

how pathetic our politics have become a joke or a stupid game show

the establishment republicans have the newtster on the ropes.the question now is mitt capable of landing the knockout punch.if not this figures to be a prolonged battle.

I do not see how you think that The bumbling fool Romney owned Gingrich.

It does not really matter. Neither are sutible candidates for the presidency or we just continue status quo in politics.

Concerning Obama, Schlesinger wrote that Republicans view Obama as, " . . . a malevolent force single-handedly transforming the nation into a Eurosocialist Hell on Earth."

It's not that Republicans think Obama can personally transform, rather his underlings have his carte blanche permission to pursue their flavor of progressive-socialism.

Furthermore, I personally don't think of Obama as a master of debate. I think his ability to debate is more a reflection of the quality of folks he debated rather than being a possessor of skills. Look at the list of those he debated in 2008: John McCain, Hillary Clinton, and Denise Kucinich.

Many may conclude that Obama's success was due to oratory and debate skill. What they fail to realize is that a majority of American's have limited knowledge of politics and an even smaller ability to discern a good debate from a bad debate. Consequently, American vote casting has now become a beauty contest and one based on emotion. Which, considering Obama's competition in 2008, it makes sense.

I see this USN & WR article uses descriptive words like "schizophrenic" to associate the Republican Party. What else could this proven, left-slanted media say, with the exception,of course, blindingly hailing their George Soros' puppet, Barack Obama.

Bloggers such as Peter Roff, and a couple of others, remain on their payroll for the sole purpose that USN & WR can say they are not 100% left-slanted!

...pretty, and, petty bad!

The way this race has been run is "schizophrenic.". Newt started this process with ideas and a positive message, but after Romney effectively used the same crap as he did to Gov. Mike Huckabee, Newt had to respond in kind. I for one don't blame him and just think what the country would look like today if Gov. Mike Huckabee had been the nominee instead of McCain. Would we still have obama to deal with?

Romney will do or say anything to become President. Can you really trust someone that wants power this bad? I think not.

Then add to number of losers that are coming out in support of him, why? Birds of a feather...

why can't you just cover the goddamned debate objectively without interjecting your own politics of hate, calling conservatives "schizophrenic."

Even Fox News wrote an exerpt that will insure the final nail in Newt's coffin:

"....Gingrich fired back that Romney misled voters by running an ad accusing the former House speaker of once referring to Spanish as "the language of the ghetto." Gingrich said he was referring to a multitude of languages, not just Spanish."

Oh, Newt! Don't you realize that this country is composed of a "melting pot" of millions of nationalities? You are sounding more and more like the "Adolf Hitler" that Obama already is!

What a dopey dope!
